Referral Programme rules · Lightinup S.r.l.

1. Who runs the programme. Lightinup S.r.l., Via Palestro 1/B, 35138 Padova, Italy, VAT IT05419600282 («Lightinup»).

2. Who can join.

• Professionals and businesses who introduce clients without designing their lighting can join: estate agents, general contractors and builders, property and facility managers, hospitality consultants.
• The following cannot join:
  • anyone who holds a design appointment for the referred client;
  • architects and designers registered with a professional body, who have the Resident Professional programme;
  • Resident Professional and Resident Manager partners;
  • Lightinup employees.
• Applications are made through the website form. Membership starts when Lightinup confirms it by email.

3. Referrals and the client's consent.

• The referrer introduces a client only after informing them and obtaining their consent to be contacted by Lightinup.
• Before any offer Lightinup asks the client to confirm; without confirmation the referral does not count.
• A referral is valid for 12 months from the client's confirmation.
• If two referrers introduce the same client, the first registered referral counts.
• A client who has placed an order with Lightinup in the previous 24 months is not a new referral.

4. The reward. For every referred and confirmed client the referrer receives:

• 5% of the value, excluding VAT, of every completed order the client places within 12 months of the referral;
• €100, once per client, when the client's first completed order reaches €500 excluding VAT.

An order is completed when it has been paid and delivered. Returns and credit notes are deducted from its value.

5. How the reward is paid.

• Rewards are credited to the referrer's account on lightinup.it, in euros, within 30 days of the order being completed. The balance is shown in the personal area.
• Credit can only be spent on lightinup.it. It cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
• Credit expires 24 months after it is credited.
• It cannot be combined with partner terms on the same order.
• If an order that earned a reward is returned or cancelled, the matching credit is removed from the balance.

6. The referrer's role. The referrer only introduces the client:

• they do not negotiate prices or terms and do not enter into contracts on Lightinup's behalf;
• they are not Lightinup's agent, representative or broker, and have no exclusivity.

7. Tax. Any tax due on rewards is the referrer's responsibility.

8. Misuse. Lightinup may remove from the programme, cancelling unspent credit, anyone who:

• refers themselves;
• makes up referrals;
• refers a client without their consent;
• uses Lightinup's name in a misleading way.

9. Personal data.

• Lightinup processes the data of referrers and referred clients under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and its privacy notice.
• The referrer confirms they have informed the client before passing on their details.

10. Leaving the programme and changes.

• The referrer may leave at any time by email; credit already earned can be spent until it expires.
• Lightinup may change these rules with 30 days' notice by email. Changes do not affect credit already earned.

11. Law and jurisdiction.

• These rules are governed by Italian law. The courts of Padova have jurisdiction.
• This does not affect the rights of a referrer acting as a consumer.
